Rajiv completed his Education from Hindu College and Faculty of Management Studies, Delhi University. Spent significant tenure with Automotive Industry managing Sales and Marketing functions for Hindustan Motors selling Cars, Trucks and Utility vehicles. He has spent last 2 decades in Travel, Tourism, Hospitality and Mobility Industries working with ITC and then as an Entrepreneur. In the Mobility Industry, he has managed Hertz and Europcar Franchises in India for many years.
Carzonrent Group, his entrepreneurial venture, was set up in 2001, which became Master Licensee for Hertz Rent A Car for India. His entrepreneurial journey has been most exciting as Carzonrent raised Venture funding in 2005 and became the first Car Rental company to get funded. SIDBI Ventures, Sequoia Capital/ West Bridge and BTS Advisors invested into Carzonrent. Carzonrent has, over the years, ventured into Operating Lease, Limo Services for Airlines and Hotels, City Taxi Services, Airport Taxi Services and Online Services for SME and Leisure Traveller population. Under his leadership, Carzonrent has built Partnerships with Drivers in this industry and helped them grow to owners of their cars.
Rajiv firmly believes that the time has come for the Personal Ground Transportation Industry to Transition to Electric Vehicle Fleets and has set up Plug Mobility to Lead the Industry Transition to a Sustainable Future.
Sakshi handles the marketing and strategy function of the company, her core responsibility is to discuss, define and monitor implementation of marketing and communication Strategies for all functions in the organization. Having graduated with an MBA in Services Marketing and Management from the SP Jain Centre of Management-Dubai-Singapore, she has valuable experience of working in two distinctly progressive cities with organizations like YCH Logistics. She has also worked on projects with Finoble advisors.

Sudarshan has an exceptional leadership track record, strong industry partnerships and deep strategic expertise in scaling technology-led businesses. Sudarshan leads Carzonrent in driving growth through technology disruption and world-class mobility solutions. Sudarshan was the Head of the Auto Industry Practice at Facebook before joining Carzonrent. He has also worked extensively in the Automotive space with Google and General Motors. He is a management graduate from University of Technology, Sydney.

Yogender takes care of the exhaustive, end-to-end technology, and the associated business needs at Carzonrent. A computer engineer from NSIT, he has over 16 years of work experience spanning across multiple technologies and various industries. After globally leading some of the key products in his MNC career, he built and scaled technology from scratch for some promising startups, and got them the next levels of funding. He is a people person, driven by the passion of using technology as an enabler of business and innovation.
Ajay Shankar has over forty years of rich experience in public service, primarily in the field of industry, urban development and the power sector. Mr. Ajay Shankar was a member of the premier Indian Administrative Service. He joined in 1973 and retired in 2009 as Secretary (Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion in the Government of India).
He also served as a Member Secretary of the NMCC, Joint and then Additional Secretary in the Ministry of Power, CEO- Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority, Secretary (DIPP), Principal Advisor in the Planning Commission, public policy scholar at the Woodrow Wilson Centre in Washington D.C. USA. Ajay Shankar has been a member of the Committee on Reform of Public Sector Undertakings, Electricity Distribution and Resources for the Power Sector for the 10th Plan and Restructuring of HAL, served as the Chairman of (a) PPP Review Committee of the Railways, President of the Board of Trustees of FMC, and member of the Board of Management of JK Lakshmipat University.
Mr. Shankar played a crucial role in putting together the stimulus packages at the time of the global economic crisis of 2008, which enabled the Indian economy to recover in a short time and again grow at over 8%. He holds a Masters in Political Science from Allahabad University and a Masters in Economics from Georgetown University, Washington D.C.
Michel is the former Group President of Hertz International. Over his 38 year career in the constantly transforming car rental business, Michel has progressed through the organisation, holding numerous leadership positions in operational, commercial, country and divisional management.
Most recently, Michel has been championing the "smart mobility" strategies for Hertz, working closely with start-ups and incubators in order to accelerate its transformation. Michel is a Strategic Advisor specialised in Travel, Transportation and Mobility, collaborating with Corporations, Start Ups, Investors and Consultants, while leveraging his long standing relationships within the industry.
He is the Chair of the Advisory Board of the GTTP (Global Travel and Tourism Partnership), an Ambassador of the WTTC (World Travel and Tourism Council) and a Foreign Trade Advisor to the French Embassy in London. In November 2019, Michel has been inducted into the International Fleet Hall of Fame, which recognises industry leaders who have contributed to the development and optimisation of the international fleet management profession throughout their careers.
Namrata Rana is the Director - Strategy and Brand at Futurescape, visiting faculty at IIM, Udaipur and India's Ambassador for Sustainability Leadership at the University of Cambridge Institute. Namrata's work focuses on building ESG strategy and transformation through sustainability journey mapping. She has worked in the areas of retail, healthcare, mobility, food, hospitality and infrastructure.
Holding a flourishing career of 20+ years, Ms. Rana also authored two books and multiple case studies on business responsibility and sustainability. Namrata is an alumnus of University of Cambridge, Blekinge Tekniska Hogskola, IIM Ahmedabad, Delhi University, and Modern School.
Anish Sugathan is an Assistant Professor at the Business Policy Area of IIM Ahmedabad, where he teaches Strategic Management and Business Environment & Sustainability. Prior to it, Anish Sugathan has worked extensively in science and research, possessing an experience of 20 years.
Anish also holds two patents and several research publications under his name. He was an Associate at the Harvard Kennedy School’s Center for Business and Government, a Research Affiliate at the International Growth Center at the London School of Economics and Political Science, and Giorgio Ruffolo post-doctoral fellow at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government.
He is an alumnus of IIM Bangalore, where he completed his PhD in Corporate Strategy and Policy. He also holds an Electronics and Communication degree from the University of Kerala.
