Audi AG is a German automobile manufacturer and a member of the Volkswagen Group.
Each ring in the Audi logo represents one of four car companies that came together to create Audi’s predecessor company – Auto Union. The four companies are as follows – Audi, Horch, DKW, and Wanderer. Initially, the company names were a part of the logo, but later on, the text was removed from the design and the interlocking rings remained.
Cadillac is a luxury vehicle division of the American automobile manufacturer, General Motors (GM).
The brand takes its name from French explorer, Antoine de la Mothe Cadillac (the founder of Detroit) and its crest is based on the Cadillac family coat of arms. BMW is a German multinational company. BMW stands for Bayerische Motoren Werke (in German) or Bavarian Motor Works (in English).
The logo supposedly represents two things (a) the blue and white roundel represents a plane’s white propellers against a blue sky, which signifies Bavarian Motor Works’ roots in constructing aircraft engines in the early 20th century (b) the blue and white colors used in the logo are a mere ode to the Bavarian flag.
Chevrolet is an American automobile division of General Motors (GM).
Commonly referred to as the Chevy bowtie, the famous Chevrolet logo is designed in gold and yellow colors and is decorated with a silver border. The vivid colors represent enthusiasm and strength. Supposedly, the logo design has two stories associated with it (a) the logo was inspired by a design from a newspaper ad in Hot Springs, Virginia (b) General Motors founder William C. Durant created it by his own imagination.

Ferrari is an Italian luxury sports car manufacturer
The popular symbol of Ferrari is a black prancing horse on the yellow background, with letters S & F for Scuderia Ferrari. Originally, the horse was the symbol of Count Francesco Baracca, (which was a legendary ‘asso’ (ace) of the Italian air force, during World War I), who painted it on the side of his planes. However, now the letters S and F (Scuderia Ferrari) have been replaced by the word ‘Ferrari’ and has the Italian flag at the top.
Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Limited is a British luxury automobile manufacturer.
The Rolls-Royce logo consists of two letters ‘R’, which are representative of Royce and Rolls, the creators of the brand. The hyphen in between represents the strong bond between the founders.
The ‘Spirit of Ecstasy’ mascot that sits atop the front grille of the Rolls Royce cars is thought to be picked from an earlier sculpture called ‘The Whisperer’. The sculpture was modeled on actress Eleanor Thornton. The sculptor Charles Sykes, who was commissioned to create a logo for Lord John Montagu’s Rolls-Royce, supposedly utilize Thornton as his muse.
